Tengu Era

Gone are the days where draw whoring is a must for every deck out there. With tengu in the meta now, field presence becomes even more important especially in the upcoming new format. The format slowly becomes tengu era. Even more now due to the simple addition of TG's and the like. Truly Tengu is mostly one of the most powerful floaters of all time. Even for an OCG based country such as ours (Philippines), open tournaments wherein all cards (literally all) are allowed, I was surprised with the attendance of Tengu in the tournament. Just goes to show that Reborn Tengu will incredibly dominate other decks in our country especially for people who doesn't know how to counter the card.

Powerful, yes. Limitable, Bannable, no. Its only a sub engine that makes your deck thin faster than before, but it still dominates with 1700 attack which is a bit much for some small monster deck like junk doppel and others (i can't think of anything other than that).

Tengu dominates now. But what about Tourguide? It's a whole different story. Especially with Xyz now in the picture.
